I also recommend you try the book I wrote called Muscle and Stamina by Dr. Mark Sisson and Dr. Robert Boudreau for the information about training and dieting. I am a former amateur bodybuilder. I was not very muscular but my bodyweight was around 225-240 pounds. I wanted to be an all time strongman, so I did lots of squats, deadlifts, squats, push-ups, pull-ups, etc. I was in a training camp for three weeks when a friend and I decided to try something different. I decided I would take my weight off and then lose my muscle. I did that, and I am now in great shape. I have a small head. I am 6'2" and I have large hands. I used to be a big guy but after taking the steps to lose weight, my body is much smaller and I am much more balanced. I do a lot of lifting, but this time around I am doing cardio to get the body ready for the contest.
